Brontë Country is a wool felted picture depicting the wild moors above Haworth in West Yorkshire. This bleak moorland hillside is thought to have inspired Emily Brontë to write her first and only novel, Wuthering Heights.
Created with a hand blended mix of super-soft merino, corriedale and shetland wool, this sunset over the moors has been carefully needle felted onto pre-felt base and framed behind glass with a complementary ivory mount and a light oak wood effect frame. The back of the picture has fixtures and cord attached for mounting on a wall.
